学习记忆是大脑的高级功能之一。学习指的是获得新的知识、技能、行为、偏好及经验等的过程。其中，通过观察、模仿同类行为进行学习的行为属于社交学习的范畴。不同类型的学习均可产生相关的记忆。记忆形成的过程包括获得、巩固、及提取等过程。因此，我们将以小鼠为主要模型，采用多种技术手段，围绕以下方向研究学习记忆的神经机制：
1. 长期记忆的巩固
食物偏好的社交传递（social transmission of food preference，STFP）是小鼠中的一种社交学习行为，通过这种行为产生的针对特定气味食物的记忆可以持续数月，形成长期的记忆。我们将着重研究该长期记忆在大脑皮层中巩固的过程，包括分子和神经环路机制。我们将同时关注长期恐惧记忆的形成机制。

2. 不同情境下社交学习行为的环路与分子机制
在社交行为中，动物不仅仅为了"社交"而社交，而是通过社交获取关于领地、繁殖、食物、天敌等的信息，因此社交过程中的信息传递和处理是"社交"的核心所在。社交活动对动物的决策行为产生影响，因此社交学习是相对高级的学习形式。除了食物偏好的社交传递以外，小鼠在不同情境下也存在社交学习的行为，其行为模式受到社交活动的影响。我们将探究社交学习的分子和环路机制，寻找"社交影响"的神经生物学基础。
