  2013年5月至今,在中科院生物物理所生物大分子国家重点实验室担任PI研究员、中科院生物大分子科教融合卓越中心特聘研究员。

  1982年毕业于湖北大学生物系,1985年在中科院武汉病毒所获硕士学位(微生物学专业),1995年在中科院微生物所获博士学位(在职,生物化学专业)。

  1993年在中科院武汉病毒所晋升研究员。1992年起历任中科院武汉病毒所、中科院武汉分院和国家科学技术部基础研究司领导职务。曾先后在加拿大、美国和英国相关学术机构从事合作研究。

  主要学术兼职:Biosensors & Bioelectronics、Biocatalysis & Biotransformation、科学通报、中科院院刊等编委;亚洲生物技术协会(AFOB)纳米生物技术/生物传感/生物芯片分会共同会长;世界生物传感学术大会组委会中国代表;曾任中国生物物理学会副理事长(-2012)、中国微生物学会副理事长(-2016)和伦敦纳米中心顾问小组成员(-2016)。其他科技顾问工作包括:国家973计划专家顾问组副组长(2013-),亚太经合组织(APEC)首席科学顾问(CSAE)会议中国代表(2013, 2015, 2016)。

  曾获中科院首届青年科学家奖(1989)、中科院有突出贡献中青年专家(1994)、湖北省自然科学一等奖(2015)等荣誉,2015年被加拿大Alberta大学授予荣誉科学博士学位。

  发表科学论文230余篇(其中SCI收录180余篇),生物传感器和生物芯片相关专著3部。

  主要研究方向:生物传感、纳米生物学和分析病原微生物学

  主要工作和进展:

  1) 纳米生物学:利用天然生物大分子的特异性识别功能和自组装性能,通过理性设计,构建一维、二维和三维以及多层级的生物纳米载荷体系,成为纳米生物学的一种研究模式,并应用于高灵敏度生物传感系统的构建,研究结果发表在Nano Letters,ACS Nano,JACS,Angrew. Chem. Int. Edt, Small等刊物。目前的研究重点是发展超分辨方法,对细胞重要物质的分布定位及丰度进行表征。

  2) 分子生物传感与细胞分子事件:发展红色、远红和近红外荧光蛋白分子传感系统(BiFC,TriFC等)和“彩色病毒”,实现活细胞内和活体内分子相互作用的可视化。研究结果发表在Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Nucleic Acids Research, J. Virology,Analytical Chemistry等刊物。目前的研究重点是活细胞及亚细胞结构对外源物质的响应、病原体与宿主细胞的相互作用、3D基因组学等。

  3) 分子识别与生物传感:利用生物元件的特异性识别原理,结合物理和化学手段,建立了系列生物传感模式,包括微生物细胞电极、多功能酶电极、基因光学传感、免疫表面声波传感、结核分枝杆菌全蛋白组芯片等。研究结果主要发表在Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Analytical Chemistry, Cell Report 等刊物。发表专著《生物传感器》(2005)。目前的研究重点是柔性生物传感器系统。

  4) 分子酶学:通过分子进化和蛋白工程方法,提升酶传感器的性能或赋予新的功能,包括级联酶传感、均质酶传感界面、酶分子固定的空间取向控制、高比活酶等。同时也在细菌耐药性的酶分子结构、催化和代谢机理方面取得一些研究成果。研究结果发表在Nucleic Acids Research, Molecular Microbiology, Journal of Bacteriology,Analytical Chemistry等刊物。将持续开展相关研究。
